Surgical Oncology is a broad field of surgery which specializes in the surgical management of cancer. Surgical Oncology encompasses every discipline of surgery and Surgical Oncologists have undergone extensive training in the multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment. Surgical Oncologists work closely with medical and radiation oncologists.
